Registration of a foreign passport

Transliteration of the first and last name according to the standard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is a mandatory condition when obtaining a foreign passport.

###Purchasing air tickets

The name on the ticket must exactly match the passport. A mistake in one letter can be a problem.

###Create URLs

Russian-language URLs are difficult to read and copy. Transliteration creates human-readable addresses: /stati/kak-sdelat-sajt.

International correspondence

Addresses on envelopes for international mail are transliterated for postal services.

Domain registration

Choosing a domain name in Latin for a Russian-language brand: Berezka company → berezka.ru.

Databases and integrations

Some systems do not support Cyrillic. Transliteration allows you to save data in a compatible format.
