If a task takes less than 2 minutes, do it immediately instead of writing it down. Recording and tracking it takes longer.
"Renovate the house" is not a task — it is a project. Break it down: "choose wall colors," "buy paint," "paint the bedroom."
A task without a deadline is a dream, not a plan. Set realistic deadlines, even if they are internal.
A simple system: high, medium, low. Or color labels: red, yellow, green.
Do not scatter tasks across notebooks, sticky notes, and apps. One tool — one system.
Checking off a task is a small victory. Do not delete completed tasks right away — let the list of achievements motivate you.
