Correct interpretation of statistical measures is just as important as calculating them. Follow these recommendations.
Outliers may be measurement errors or important anomalies. Always investigate their nature before excluding them from analysis.
For reliable statistical conclusions, you need a sufficient sample. Small samples (fewer than 30 observations) may produce unstable results.
Numerical measures don't tell the full story. Build a histogram or scatter plot for a better understanding of data structure.
Two measures may be correlated, but this doesn't mean one causes the other.
Many statistical tests assume a normal distribution. Make sure your data meets this assumption.
