Enter the date of your last menstrual period and the calculator will calculate your LMP. Remember: only 5% of babies are born exactly on the calculated day. Childbirth is considered normal between 38 and 42 weeks.
The calculator will show the exact obstetric period in weeks and days, the current trimester and how much time is left until delivery.
Each week has its own recommendations for examinations:
| Deadline | What to do |
|---|---|
| 6-8 weeks | Register, first ultrasound |
| 11-13 weeks | First screening |
| 18-22 weeks | Detailed ultrasound |
| 24-28 weeks | Diabetes test |
| From 30 weeks | CTG, preparation for childbirth |
Sick leave for pregnancy and childbirth is issued from the 30th week (for multiple births - from the 28th). The calculator will help you plan your maternity leave date in advance.
Every week, the calculator shows what is happening with the baby: what organs are being formed, what size and weight, when to expect the first movements.
| Week | Event |
|---|---|
| 5-6 | The heart begins to beat |
| 12 | Organ formation completed |
| 16-22 | First noticeable movements |
| 24 | The fetus is considered viable |
| 37 | Pregnancy is considered full-term |
| 40 | Estimated due date |
