The percentage calculator covers the most common percentage problems for everyday life and work.
Formula: **Result = Number × Percent / 100**
Example: 15% of 3000 = 3000 × 15 / 100 = 450
Formula: **Percent = (Part / Whole) × 100**
Example: 450 of 3000 = (450 / 3000) × 100 = 15%

Confusing “percent of a number” with “percent more than”
Chained percentage changes do not add: 10% + 10% ≠ 20%
A 50% discount then a 50% markup does not return the original price
