Learning Morse code may seem challenging, but with the right approach it becomes a fascinating process.
Learn letters in order of frequency: E, T, A, O, I, N, S. This allows you to read real messages more quickly.
Do not memorize dots and dashes visually. Listen to the sounds and associate them with letters. This significantly speeds up recognition.
Start with two characters at high speed. When you reach 90% accuracy, add a third character, and so on.
Short daily sessions (10-15 minutes) are more effective than long irregular sessions.
Create associations for difficult letters. For example, the letter Q (--.-) can be remembered as "God save the Queen" (two long, short, long).
Practice mentally encoding signs around you: billboards, license plates, street names.
The most well-known signal SOS (... --- ...) is an excellent starting point for memorizing the letters S and O.
