1. Always maintain proportions

Distorted images look unprofessional. Fix aspect ratio when resizing.

2. Prepare images for retina screens

Retina displays require images that are 2 times the display size. A 600x300 banner on the site requires a 1200x600 file.

3. Don't enlarge small photos

Enlarging a 200x200 image to 2000x2000 will produce a blurry result. Use the maximum size source.

4. Use batch processing

If you need to resize 50 photos, use batch mode instead of processing one at a time.
