1. Acre ≈ 0.4 hectares

More precisely: 1 acre = 0.4047 hectares. Back: 1 hectare ≈ 2.47 acres. It’s easy to remember: 2.5 acres is approximately 1 hectare.

2. Weaving = 100 m²

100 acres = 1 hectare. 6 acres = 600 m² = 0.06 hectares. Standard summer cottage.

3. Square feet → meters: divide by 10.76

Apartment 1000 sq ft ≈ 93 m². For a rough estimate, divide by 11.

4. Don't confuse linear and square units

1 m = 3.28 feet, but 1 m² = 10.76 sq. ft (3.28²). Square units are squared.
