The Math.sin() libraries require radians. The tilt angle of 45° needs to be converted: 45 × π/180 = 0.7854 rad.
Surveyors use grads (400 for a full circle). Conversion to degrees: 100 grad = 90°.
Coordinates can be in degrees-minutes-seconds (55°45'20'') or decimal degrees (55.7556°).
Servos work in degrees, mathematical models work in radians. Frequent translation during setup.
Rotating elements: rotate(90deg), rotate(1.5708rad), rotate(0.25turn) - the same thing.
The angular size of the Moon is ≈ 0.5° ≈ 30' (minutes of arc). The angular size of the Sun is approximately the same - so solar eclipses are possible.
